Michigan Lake Products has been engineering, building and installing vinyl docks since 1990.

Over 20 years ago, Phil Welch and Jack McAvoy recognized that vinyl dock products had a great future along the lakes and riverbanks of Northern Michigan. They began operations in a small building and pioneered the fabricating of vinyl dock products and systems. They soon found that engineering Brock Dock and Royal Dock products and providing their own custom dock system was exactly what they thought it would be... a business that people needed all over Northern Michigan.

They produced excellent, maintenance-free, and guaranteed vinyl docks with lifetime warranties. Their vinyl docks quickly became popular around Burt Lake, Mullett Lake, Black Lake, Crooked Lake, Lake Charlevoix, the Grand Traverse area, and then throughout Northern Michigan. The partnered closely with Brock Dock, Royal Dock, and other suppliers. They became well known around the region for quality and customer service as well.

Today, when it comes to vinyl docks, Michigan Lake Products is still the leader and continues to build on that reputation. The business has expanded its offerings greatly since those early days.
